Andrea Goldstein, BS recently joined the research laboratory of NF Center director, David H. Gutmann, MD, PhD, as a Research Technician. She completed medical school at the University of MIssouri in Columbia, and is currently applying to residency programs in Obstetrics/Gynecology. Her prior laboratory experience includes work in the laboratory of Michelle Monje MD, PhD at Stanford University, where she studied the effects of neuronal activity on oligodendrogenesis and myelination using optogenetics.
In the Gutmann Laboratory, Andrea will be studying immune cell interactions in the low-grade glioma tumor microenvironment.
